The Garden at the Yellow Lodge
The Yellow Lodge’s garden is an oasis. Several fountains, a small swimming pool and beautifully landscaped, shady areas where cool beverages or coffee and tea are gladly served, will soothe you at the end of a long day of sightseeing. In our garden you will find the striking Natal strelitzias, several varieties of palms, and hortensias.
The Yellow Lodge also provides spacious, guarded parking. For added security, the Guesthouse has a surrounding wall and central alarm system.

Wine
For wine-lovers, the Yellow Lodge is the perfect base for a leisurely wine tasting tour on the Stellenbosch wine route, or similar wine routes such as Paarl etc. Wine routes maps are available at reception.
Currently the Stellenbosch Wine Routes have more than 130 winery members, including names such as Blaauwklippen, Beyerskloof, Delheim, Lanzerac, Muratie and Neethlingshof.
We will make bookings and provide free return transfers in the evenings should you wish to savour a glass of our local wines and enjoy a meal at the Lord Neethling Restaurant which is situated on the famous 300 year old Neethlingshof wine farm with its cluster of historic Cape Dutch buildings.
The wineries of the wine farms around Stellenbosch are among the oldest in South Africa . Stellenbosch`s nickname "Eikestad" (Oak Town) refers to the wood the area supplies for making traditional wine casks.
Your concierge at the Yellow Lodge will be happy to arrange for taxi service or a private driver if you would prefer to go on a more carefree wine tasting tour of the best the winelands have to offer without your own car rental!
