Accommodation

Bird Suites (12 rooms): 20-30 sqm, queen size bed, country style furniture, lounge area, en-suite bathroom with shower, south-west and south facing (please note that all the rooms are strictly non-smoking). Maximum number of extra single beds: 1

Flower Suites (6 rooms): 40 sqm, king size bed, country style furniture, lounge area, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, north-west facing, telephone and safe (please note that all the rooms are strictly non-smoking). Maximum no. of extra single beds: 2

Bridal Suite: 40 sqm, king size bed extra length, elegant mahogany furniture and four poster bed, lounge area, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, south-west facing, (please note that all the rooms are strictly non-smoking).

Full English Breakfast (included in the B&B rate) is served daily from 7 to 10a.m. In the evening a three-course dinner is offered from 7p.m. at the romantic Palm Restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Outside guests are welcome to join us for breakfast.

Check-in time on day of arrival is 14.00h. Check-out time on day of departure is 10.00h. Please contact us for special arrangements.

Wedding Venue

Valverde has two venues with separate entrance gates and parking areas for the privacy of your special day. Should you wish to have exclusivity over the whole resort, we can accommodate you at an additional charge of R6000.

The King's Hall seats up to 120 guests, with a spacious raised dance floor and a separate buffet area. The Jasmine Chapel overlooks the Elandsdrift Valley, the Lavender field and the Renaissance garden. It is open on 3 sides, with a skylight in the roof, and is furnished with wrought iron features, wooden pews, a red carpet and an arch at the entrance.

The Olive Lapa seats up to 200 guests, with an outdoor dance floor under the stars. The Rose Chapel is indoors, and the altar is raised. It is furnished with chairs, a red carpet and beautiful wrought iron candle holders.

The use of the respective venue for afternoon wedding is for 8 hours from the start of the ceremony (e.g. 16.00h - 24.00h). The staff overtime fee for any additional hour or part thereof is R500. For morning weddings, the cut off time is 14.00h. The Bridal Suite is offered to the bride from 12a.m. so she can prepare herself for the very special day.

After the magic moment the couple wonders into the gardens for the photo session. You may make use of the entire estate for photographs. In the meanwhile, the guests are invited to have snacks and drinks on the the plaza or in the gardens, surrounded by the tranquil sound of running water.

Conference Venues

Valverde is only 10 minutes from Lanseria Airport, 20 minutes from Fourways and Centurion, 30 minutes from Sandton and Midrand. Beautifully landscaped gardens, water features and peaceful surroundings provide an ideal setting for productive conferences and memorable functions.

Understanding that time is money, Valverde provides an environment that is conducive to productivity and focus, key elements of effective conferences.

Centrally located in a tranquil country environment, Valverde offers a variety of facilities and configurations, catering for groups from 2 to 200 people, from formal boardroom meetings to breakaway groups in the gardens.

All rooms are fully equipped with flipchart, overhead projector and screen, TV and VCR. PA systems are available at an additional charge. Fax, photocopying and e-mail/internet facilities are also available.

It is within easy access to the main highways [N1 & R28 (N14)].

Valverde is situated only 10 minutes from Lanseria International Airport from where daily flights operate to Cape Town and various other attractions in South Africa. Its excellent location makes Valverde ideal for day conferences, company breakaways, and international and business travellers.
