For those who are normally under the strains and pressures
of city life, Gonubie is the ideal spot to relax and
unwind and to be refreshed and restored as they enjoy
its tranquil atmosphere and unspoiled, natural beauty.
We offer three star luxury Bed & Breakfast and
self-catering accommodation.
Situated in a delightful treed garden, only four minutes’
drive from our Blue Flag Main Beach and popular Boardwalk,
all our rooms have private entrances and en suite bathrooms
and are tastefully decorated and are equipped with ceiling
fans and heaters, TVs, bedside radios and tea and coffee
trays. There are bar fridges in all the rooms. We also
have desks for the convenience of our corporate guests.
The guest lounge is available in which to read and relax.
We offer DStv in the Kingfisher, Fish Eagle and Woodpecker
rooms and a laundry facility and tumble dryer is available
for the use of our guests.
Kestrel Cottage
Tastefully decorated one bedroom cottage with double bed and en suite bath and shower. Spacious lounge / diningroom and fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven and undercounter oven and hob. The lounge is large enough to accommodate a second couple or two children.
Hearty English breakfasts are served in the dining
room or in the thatched gazebo with an undercover BBQ/braai
facility next to the swimming pool and on the deck of
the self-catering unit. Delicious dinners may be served
by prior arrangement.
Day trips to various places of interest in the area
can be arranged, including Game Park drives, horse riding
and hiking trails. The golf course is but a stone’s
throw away and popular fishing off the rocks is within
