| Shandon Lodge Guesthouse is the perfect “home from home” for the business traveler as well as the tourist in the Lowveld region. Ideally situated close to the town of Nelspruit and yet perfectly located in the quiet and peaceful suburbs with magnificent views across the Crocodile River Valley. This custom-built guesthouse boasts a AA graded "Superior" Guesthouse rating from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and offers the highest standards at reasonable rates.
Accommodation
Shandon Lodge offers 9 luxury double/twin en-suite bedrooms with their own private entrance. All rooms are air-conditioned and are equipped with ceiling fans, bar fridges, colour TV with M-Net & DSTV channels, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryers and much, much more.
Special attention is given to the highest standard percale linen for the ultimate sleep experience. All our bathrooms are en-suite and have
a separate shower, some of the rooms also have a bath. Large fluffy bath sheets and toiletries are provided. No smoking is allowed in the rooms but is permitted on the extensive verandahs.
Dining
A full English breakfast with a buffet sideboard of fresh fruits, yoghurts and cereals is included in our rates and served in the elegant dining room or on the patio outside overlooking the Crocodile River valley. For those guests wanting an early getaway into the Park or early business call we can arrange a packed take-away breakfast.
Dinner is available (Monday –Thursdays) on request. 2 course Table d’hôte Home Cooked Meal - Weekends by special arrangement for larger groups. This must be booked in advance. We will gladly refer our guests to a wide variety of restaurants nearby or alternatively a take-away order can be arranged and delivered to the Guest House. |
