Sekelbos Guesthouse which is situated in Eldoraigne, a tranquil suburb of Centurion is well suited for both the avid tourist and business person. It is easily accessible from major highways such as the N1 (North to Pretoria and CBD and South to Midrand) as well as the N14 to Krugersdorp and the Ben Schoeman Highway via routes such as Ruimte Ave, Old Johannesburg Road and Jean Avenue. We are ideally situated at 45km from OR Tambo Airport and 36 km from Lanseria Airport.
The guest house is centrally located within +/- 45 km to all attractions and amenities in Centurion and surrounding Gauteng areas. The Supersport cricket stadium and Loftus Versveld Stadium, which are South African landmarks, regularly hosting international cricket and rugby matches are also closely situated, together with the Centurion Shopping Centre, Centurion Boulevard and the City Lake offering a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
Centurion has a variety of tourist attractions, including the Irene Camp Cemetery, the popular Smuts House Museum and the Air Force Memorial. The Zwartkop Golf Estate, Zwartkop Air Force Base and SAAF Museum are close by, together with the Voortrekker Monument and the Freedom Park, which are situated in the greater Centurion area.
The guesthouse is also at close proximity to the popularly known Jacaranda City (Tshwane) for all the purple blossom-bedecked trees, which line its thoroughfares. The City of Tshwane is a lovely, quiet city. It has a long, involved and fascinating history where you will find significant old buildings and fascinating museums. The Transvaal Museum has natural history displays and is the home of Mrs Ples, the australopithecine fossil found at Sterkfontein in the Cradle of Humankind. Also worth visiting is the Cultural History Museum outside Tshwane.
The Sekelbos guest house nestles within a lush green garden adjacent to a sparkling pool and outdoor entertainment facility. The guesthouse comprises five uniquely decorated en-suite rooms with four additional rooms due for completion in February 2010. Each unit has its’ own private entrance and is equipped with either queen, double or single beds to suit your needs. Coffee, tea and television with satelite are offered standard per room. |
