Sefapane Lodge & Safaris has existed for the past 20 years and is situated next to the Phalaborwa gate of the Kruger National Park.

The lodge is situated on a beautiful parcel of land with dense and abundant gardens as well as 4 dams. It has an 'African style' combined with luxury, which gives you a home away from home feeling as well as a great 'bush' experience.

Rooms
The 4-star luxury lodge consists of 31 rondavels and 18 family safari houses. The thatched roof African style rondavels are situated under shady trees. They are fitted with air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, kitchenette, cable TV and wireless internet.

The luxury self-catering safari houses have a spacious lounge with DStv and internet, fully equipped open plan kitchen, 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, guest bathroom, a loft with 3rd bedroom and a private wooden deck. The house is in total 160m². The houses are situated around the dam, where there is brilliant birdlife. The safari houses are suitable for 4 to 10 persons.

Facilities
The lodge has all the facilities you would like on your holiday. We have 2 splendid swimming pools of which 1 has a swim-up bar. The bar is a sunken bar serving cocktails and entertainment. The restaurant has an open kitchen and serves breakfasts, lunches and divine à la carte dinners. Our Spa is decorated in a real African atmosphere and will give you an excellent relaxing experience through facials or massages.

Our special kids program offers: the kids lounge, where children have fun, watch television, play games and can eat from the kiddies menu. There is a small petfarm and a playground with slide into the pool. Besides that there is internet available, a laundry facility, safe parking, bar fridges, braais to rent, 24/7 reception and security. There is also a conference centre and we have a wedding venue.

Activities
We organize safaris within the Kruger National Park guided by experienced FGASA qualified guides and in special designed game viewing safari vehicles. Morning, day and evening safaris as well as evening bush braais in the Kruger park, river safaris, bush walks and mountain-bike tours. We have day excursions to the Blyde River Canyon, an animal rehab centre and a cultural village tour. There are fishing options in our dam and bird watching options on our property. The well-known 18-holes Hans Merensky Golf Course is only a few minutes’ drive away from Sefapane Lodge.

Weddings
Get married in our lush tropical gardens, in our African style boma or on the middle of the Olifants River on a river boat. Have a lovely lunch or wedding dinner prepared by our chefs in the middle of the bush, or under the palm trees and a star-lit sky around our pool. Let our choir sing to you and traditional dancers entertain you after you said 'I do'.
