Just 2 minutes away from the beachfront and local attractions like the Gateway Theatre of Shopping, Sandy Ridge is an affordable up-market bed and breakfast offering everything that you would expect from any 4-star accommodation. Both self-catering and bed and breakfast accommodation are available. Guest accommodation and guest facilities are separate from the main house to ensure your privacy. All bed and breakfast suites are fully equipped for both business and holiday travellers.

Group Accommodation

Our bed and breakfast is one of the few in Umhlanga that can accommodate large groups and parties. With 2 family rooms accommodating up to 12 people, 2 Double rooms accommodating up to 9 people and 3 deluxe rooms accommodation up to 6 people means that we can accommodate a group of 26 / 28 adults and children. All in relative luxury and all in their own bed.

Each of the units enjoy a full ensuite bathroom and shower, Microwave, Fridge, tea/coffee facilities, TV with DSTV and a video channel. Telephone and internet access, private balcony and use of the pool and braai (barbeque) area bot forgetting our bar.

Family Accommodation

Under South Africa's shining sun, Sandy Ridge bed and breakfast offer the ideal family accommodation in Umhlanga. Units that will sleep 6 - 8 visitors in comparative luxury and style.

Each of the two family units enjoy a full ensuite bathroom, Microwave, Fridge, tea/coffee facilities, TV with Mnet and a video channel. Telephone and internet access, private balcony and use of the pool and braai (barbeque) area.

Business Accommodation

Umhlanga is central top all your business needs with Durban just a 20 minute drive down the M4 and La Lucia and Umhlanga Central Business Districts at the top of the road. Umhlanga is also a good central point to use as a jump off to the North or South Coast. Richards Bay is a 90 minute Drive and Margate again a 90 minute drive.

Your room comes with air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV with Mnet and a video channel, tea/coffee facilties, a microwave, a fridge, a telephone and in room internet access. The rooms also enjoy a private balcony and use of all our bed and breakfast facilities which our business guests find useful for meetings and entertaining.
