Auberge Rozendal has 16 en-suite guestrooms all with terraces. Our rooms are situated between the vineyards with majestic views of Stellenbosch and Simonsberg mountains as well as the table mountain in the distance, providing an environment of beauty and tranquillity.

The rooms are decorated in a European style with a South African touch. Guests can relax at the pool, enjoy a leisurely walk or hike in the adjacent forests and mountains.

Auberge Rozendal hat 16 Gästezimmer alle mit eigener Terrasse. Unsere Zimmer liegen zwischen den Weinreben, mit einer Phantastischen Aussicht über Stellenbosch, Simonsberg und den Table Mountain in der Ferne und geben eine Umgebung von Schönheit und Ruhe.

Alle Zimmer sind im Europäischen Stil mit Südafrikanischen touch eingerichtet.

Unsere Gäste können sich am Pool entspannen, spazieren gehen oder in den angeschlossenen Wäldern wandern.

The Restaurant:

The cuisine can be described as creative and natural with French Provencal roots. Our ingredients are always fresh, sourced from home-grown organic vegetables, fruits and herbs, as well as free-range farm eggs and milk. Other organic products are locally sourced, such as duck breast, venison and salmon trout. Meals are served either on the vine-covered veranda overlooking a tranquil lawn or in the dining room with its gallery of canvases by world famous local artists Paul Emsley, Cecil Skotnes and Larry Scully. During colder weather guests can enjoy the warmth and comfort of a roaring fireplace.

Die Küche kann als Kreativ und Naturbelassen mit wurzeln in der französischen province beschrieben werden. Unsere Produkte sind immer frisch, wir beziehen aus unserem eigenen Garten, Gemüse Obst und Kräuter. Andere Produkte wie Entenbrust, Wild und Lachsforelle wird aus der Nachbarschaft geliefert. Die Gerichte werden entweder auf der von Weinreben umgebenen Veranda oder im Speiseraum der mit Bildern von Weltbekannten Südafrikanischen Künstlern wie Paul Emsley, Cecil Skotnes und Larry Scully bestückt ist.

Während der Kaltwetter Phase können unsere Gäste die Wärme und Romantik vom Kaminfeuer genießen.

The Farm:

The farm produces a variety of yoghurts, milk, cheese, drinking vinegar, herbs and salads all which will be served in the restaurant and this could be accompanied by wine planted and made at the Rozendal Farm.

Trinkessig, Kräuter und Salate können im Restaurant mit einer Flasche Wein von der Rozendalfarm genossen werden.

Bookings are only confirmed once Credit Card, Cash or EFT deposit has been received in the amount of 50% of the total booking value. Once this has been done it is agreed that the conditions of the cancellation policy have been accepted. Final payment of the remaining 50% of the total booking value is due in our bank account no less than 30 days prior to arrival date to avoid cancellation. Credit Card guaranteed bookings will be charged automatically, bookings via Cash / EFT should forward proof of payment prior to due date.

Cancellation charges are levied under the following conditions: Up to 30 days prior to arrival 30% of total booking value;
29 to 15 days prior to arrival 50% of total booking value;
14 to 7 days prior to arrival 70% of total booking value;
Less than 7 days prior to arrival, No-shows, & Early Departures at 100%.

Cancellations are only accepted in writing (e-mail or fax). We recommend that all travellers take out cancellation insurance. We will be pleased to render an invoice to your insurers in the event of a claim. We always confirm cancellations in writing.  Please demand written acknowledgement that we have accepted your cancellation. This is the only proof of cancellation we will accept.
