| Pezulu Tree House Game Lodge is a small, exclusive lodge situated in the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve, only forty minutes from the world famous Kruger National Park.
Accommodation consists of eight unique thatch and reed tree houses which accommodate up to sixteen guests. Each unit is different and has been designed to blend perfectly with the environment whilst maintaining an element of luxury.
Every unit has a spacious balcony where you can view herds of animals passing below or view a giraffe eye to eye. Blending in beautifully with the African bush, solid wooden walkways lead high into your private tree house.
All our tree houses are en-suite with an outdoor shower overlooking the bush and/or a bath. They are supplied with running (hot) water, electricity, tea and coffee facilities, electronic safes, fans, small heaters and mosquito nets. They are far away from each other and hidden from view to ensure privacy.
We have an amazing honeymoon suite ! It is very spacious and is built on two levels; it has a king size bed, a sitting area, a bathroom and a sunken bath with a view on the bush. You can chill out in the hanging chairs on the balcony overlooking a waterhole where animals come to drink.
Don’t miss the opportunity to stay in our dream tree house. It is built on two marula trees and consists of a spacious main bedroom, a cosy lounge as well as a beautiful decorated bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. Furthermore a separate walkway leads you to the fantastic twin outdoor shower. The self built king size bed is on wheels allowing guests to sleep either inside or outside on the balcony under the stars. From the balcony you will enjoy the most amazing view over open african savanna.
The 7 metre high Mountain View Tree house is built in a majestic Jackalberry tree and consists of a spacious bedroom, a king-size bed and a separate bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. On the outside is another bathroom with an outstanding outdoor shower surrounded by leaves and branches. From the balcony you have the most stunning panoramic view over the northern Drakensberg Mountains, the perfect location for romantic sunsets.
We also have 3 family units which are able to accommodate a family with up to 4 children. The bedrooms are on the same level, they are only separated by a balcony. We can also put one or two beds in the parent’s bedroom for very young children who don’t want to sleep alone. Children love our tree houses !
Pezulu Tree House Lodge's knowledgeable and experienced rangers will take you on morning and late afternoon game drives as well as bush walks. We also organise big five game drives. Pezulu is a birder’s paradise all year round. Pezulu is ideally situated to take advantage of numerous attractions in the area like the Blyde River Canyon as well as numerous rehabilitation centres. |
