Northcliff Manor Guest House is one of the earliest homes built in 1937 against the Northcliff hill – in the heart of Egoli – The City of Gold. On arrival you will be overwhelmed by wonderment, calm and beauty as result of the architecture, luxurious accommodation and lush landscape.
One of Johannesburg’s oldest upmarket suburbs, leafy Northcliff, lies north west of the city’s CBD, its cliff a landmark on the otherwise predominantly flat skyline of the city. Northcliff’s large homes lie on steep inclines that wind their way up the cliff, the views superlative, and the tree-lined streets of a different nature to many of the other suburbs in Johannesburg that function mainly on grid systems.
This unique, historical and architectural gem of Northcliff has been restored with passion, respect and the comfort of guests in mind.
Landscape and Location
The Manor is set in a lush 4000m2 garden on “millionaire’s drive” elevated against Northcliff Hill in the affluent suburb of Northcliff.
The Guesthouse is within easy reach of Cinemas, Restaurants, shopping centres and Casinos. The manor is centrally located for sports lovers attending Cricket, Rugby and Soccer matches, to name a few. It is also within close vicinity of the 2 major Universities, WITS and UJ.
