Downstairs - twin beds, bath/shower en-suite, fridge, coffee/tea-making facilities, living area with cosy fireplace, outside patio with access to garden, pool (which is right next to the cottage) and fruit- bearing orchard.

Upstairs - queen bed, shower en-suite, fridge, coffee/tea-making facilities, living area with another cosy fireplace plus a wooden terrace with a stunning view over the Tradauw valley.

OR Family Room

A garden room with seperate entrance, double-bed, en-suite shower, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and two additional children's beds. This is a family room with access to the garden and swimming pool.

Location

Lentelus on the R62 is an easy 3 hour scenic drive from Cape Town. It can be approached from the Garden Route (N2) via the magnificent Tradouws Pass; from Montagu (R62) and the fertile Tradouw Valley, or from Oudtshoorn (R62) over the plateau of the Klein Karoo. These routes meet in the small town Barrydale, an earthy fragment of paradise, nestling in the folds of the majestic Langeberg Mountains. Lentelus B&B is exactly 11km outside of Barrydale on the R62 towards Montagu.

Barrydale - Despite its growing popularity, Barrydale retains its rural, old world charm. It supports a diverse, yet harmonious community of young and old, Afrikaans and English speakers, fruit farmers and artists, longtime residents and newcomers.

From Barrydale day trips can be made to Grootvadersbosch (a lush indigenous forest) to Swellendam, to L'Agulhas, the most southernmost point in Africa. Travel via the beautiful awe inspiring Tradouw Pass - with unusual rock formations, waterfalls and rock pools.
