Guest Farm is a fifth generation working sheep
farm, situated conveniently just 500m from the N1 between
Bloemfontein and Colesburg, close to Springfontein
in the Southern Free State.
Accommodation comprises six tastefully
decorated private en-suite units, with full English breakfasts
and succulent Karoo Lamb dinners, with traditional country
hospitality that we pride ourselves in.
Rooms are equipped with heaters, fireplaces
as well as electric blankets for those chilly Free State
winter nights. For those warm summer days and nights,
the rooms have fans and a sparkling pool to cool off
in.
For the more adventurous the Bossiesspruit
trail nearby offers 140 bird species, so all those avid
birdwatchers will more than enough variety to keep themselves
busy.
We're also proud of our new farmstall
offering packaged and frozen Karoo lamb, biltong, jams,
nuts, preserves and local arts and crafts. Delicious
homemade lamb and mint, venison and juniper berry and
chicken
marsala
pies daily by Chef Shelton.
