If you are looking for solitude and a sense of remoteness, Keurbooms River Game Trails is the place to visit. Our private Game and Nature Park is all about exploring and enjoying nature at its best.  Situated in the Knysna region of the Garden Route, it forms part of the exciting Middle Keurbooms Conservancy, with the Keurbooms River running through the farm for more than nine kilometers. 

Come and explore the Keurbooms River with its panoramic views of surrounding mountains and numerous game-viewing opportunities.

We offer a range of self-drive game trails, as well as game drives with a step-on guide in your own or supplied vehicle. This includes guided walks amongst the game, off the beaten tracks.

Encounter Eland, Burchell's Zebra, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Nyala, Gray Rhebuck, Blue Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Blesbok, Duiker, Leopard, Caracal, Serval, Genet, Honey-badger, Bushpig, baboons and monkeys.

Catering can be arranged from one of the members in the Conservancy, at their specific rates. We take pride in the fact that all of our facilities are owner managed, which provides the best possible attention to detail.

From the N2 at Knysna, take the R339 Northwards towards Uniondale and follow the Prince Alfred’s Pass for 45 km. You will find our entrance on your right, exactly 1.5km after the Diep River crossing.

From the N2 at Plettenberg Bay, take the R340 turn-off to Uniondale / Wittedrif and follow the road to where it joins the R339 (Prince Alfred’s Pass). At this junction turn right (North) and travel for 8.5km until you find our entrance on your right.

Coming from the North at Uniondale (N9), take the Prince Alfred’s Pass (R339) South towards Knysna, travel past the river-crossing at De Vlugt, and continue for another 10 kms until you find the entrance of our farm on your left (East).

From George, travel over the Outeniqua Pass on the N9 towards Uniondale. ±60km after the Oudtshoorn turnoff you will find "The Palm Cafe" on your right. (This is the last petrol stop). Follow the road for a further 9km, then look out for signboards indicating a turn-off to De Vlugt/Jonksrus. Turn right on the De Vlugt / Jonksrus road and continue for ±20km until you reach a T-junction. Turn right towards Knysna, follow the road for another 10km and you will find our entrance on your left.
