Horizon Holiday Cottages, Noordhoek, Cape Town offers affordable self catering family Cottages and Cabanas located in a tranquil countryside suburb of Cape Town and its attractions for a memorable holiday. Enjoy a colourful, rural village ambience in Cape Town’s best kept secret destination. Our accommodation can house up to 14 people .

Choose from:

Guinea Fowl Cottage: furnished in African Colonial style with antiques and original artworks, sleeps 4 people privately in 3 bedrooms; 1 double bed, another with ¾ bed and a further single bedroom. Ideal for a family with 2 children or a single parent.

Captain’s Cottage: breezy beach cottage sleeps 4 to 6: 1 double bedroom, 1 with twin beds, and a fold out extra double bed in the lounge. Dining room is separate. Bathrooms have bath with shower, vanity and toilet.

Cottages have open plan, fully equipped kitchens. There is a door from the lounge to the covered stoep facing a private garden with a braai/bbq. The stoep has a table/bench set where you can relax outdoors and enjoy the spectacular sunsets for which Noordhoek is famous.

Cabanas: for Romantic couples, offering spacious double bed with en-suite shower bathroom; lounge area, fully fitted kitchen and breakfast bar with fridge, stove and microwave. Sliding glass doors open to private deck with spectacular views of Noordhoek lakes, and open into the garden, pool and braai area.

We are ideally situated for all the attractions of the Peninsula and the Cape Point route and a popular stay over for guests of weddings at Monkey Valley. Nearby attractions include wind surfing, mountain hikes, whale watching and the famous penguin colony at Simonstown.

Long Beach, Noordhoek stretches for 8km of pristine white sand. The beach is so big that it can never become crowded, and offers great surfing and, even in winter, offers relaxing walks enabling you to explore the historic shipwreck on its sands.
We are situated at the foot of the Table Mountain National park where you can enjoy walks or hikes in the Silvermine Reserve.

The Noordhoek valley is one of Cape Town's best kept secret destinations. Although a short drive to Cape Town and in proximity to all of the attractions of the Peninsula, it offers a colourful village atmosphere with rustic surroundings; truly the last remaining rural area and country village in the Cape Peninsula.

The properties are large and verdant by Cape Town standards, being remains of the farms that used to provide provisions for the Dutch ships at Simonstown. Here you will find cool leafy country lanes with road crossings for horse riders, clean fresh air unpolluted by industry. Traffic is sparse and relaxed, which is just as well for the horse riders that abound.

Conservation and preservation from uncontrolled development is a key priority of Noordhoek. We enjoy the proclaimed wetlands that abound with birds , the Cape Otter and other creatures. Many properties nestle on the slope of the mountains and have truly spectacular views across to the white sands of Long Beach. The more fortunate nestle at the edge of the 8km long beach of pristine white sand enjoyable venue for walking, horse riding, surfing and kite boarding.

Noordhoek faces West and one can expect a spectacular sunset most every night. Enjoy it from our accommodation or from the decks of one of the nearby collection of country restaurants and pubs.
