adventurous may even like to try their hand at paragliding,
surfing or quad biking! Nature lovers will enjoy bird
watching almost anywhere in the area and the garden
route Botanical Garden in George and nearby game reserves
offer visitors the chance to learn about South Africa’s
amazing variety of flora and fauna.

The highly acclaimed George Golf Club is just 5 minutes’
drive from Fourways, as is the world renowned Fancourt
Estate where visitors will be warmly welcomed at the
Bramble Hill course. Other fine golfing venues include

have endless options. A visit to the 'ostrich capital'
Oudtshoorn, the awe-inspiring Cango Caves and Swartburg
Pass, wine-tasting at the local Herold estate or in
Calitzdorp, the Outeniqua Hop Country Drive and a scenic
steam train ride on the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe from George
