Clivia Stream Lodge is situated in the Sabie river valley, twenty minutes from the nearest gate to the Kruger National Park, and is also ideally situated for those wanting to explore the Blyderiver Canyon and the lowveld area in general. The closest town is Hazyview, and the immediate area has much to offer in the form of outdoor activities, restaurants and sightseeing.

The lodge is owner run, and is situated on a litchi farm with wonderful views across the Sabie valley. At present the lodge comprises of a self catering house that can sleep six, and a more intimate chalet sleeping only two.

With two en suite bedrooms, a stunning indoor and outdoor entertainment area, fully equipped kitchen, DSTV, and a third bedroom suitable for children, the wooden house offers guests every comfort needed. Guests can choose to cater for themselves, or your host can serve an excellent dinner - and there is also a delicious continental breakfast on offer.

The two sleeper chalet is ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway; the bath view alone makes Clivia Stream worth a visit! The unit has its own private deck and barbecue area, and is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. A king size bed, air-conditioning and beautiful surrounds will ensure your absolute comfort during your stay. This unit is not self catering, and both breakfast and dinners are offered.

Other facilities at the lodge include a swimming pool and beautiful walks around the farm. Activities on offer in the area include, hot air ballooning, elephant safaris, quad biking, golf, mountain biking, canopy tours, fishing, birding, white water rafting, horse back riding, Kruger Park safaris and scenic hikes. Transfers and bookings for all these activities can be arranged through the lodge.

From Johannesburg and Pretoria take the N4 towards Witbank and past Middelburg; turn off from the highway before Belfast onto the R 33. Drive through the town of Belfast and at the last 4-way stop in Belfast turn right onto the R540 and travel 35 km to Dullstroom, straight through the town of Dullstroom and another 72 km to Lydenburg. Drive into the town of Lydenburg until you reach the big 4 way stop (with the Wimpy Bar on the opposite left) and turn right onto the R37 to travel 56 km over the Long Tom Pass to Sabie. Beware of thick mist during the night. In Sabie turn right at the first stop street and then right again at the next stop street onto the R536. Travel 30 km on the R536 towards Hazyview. You will not miss Clivia stream Lodge on the right hand side of the road.
