From Durban travels along the M4 Northern Freeway and take the Glen Ashley, Aubrey Drive turn-off into Aubrey Drive. It is ±8 km from Durban.

From the King Shaka International Airport travel on the N2 Southern freeway toward Durban. Approximately 19 kilometres from the airport take the Umhlanga, Phoenix, Mount Edgecombe turnoff to the left.
At the robot turn left onto the M41 towards Durban. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometres, where you will get a very sharp bend to the left; after this bend you will be on the M4 Freeway toward Durban.
Approximately 2 kilometres from the bend you will turn left at the Glenashley, Ann Arbor Rd turnoff and you will be in Ann Arbor.
Take the first road to your right (Yspilanti Rd).
Over the speed bump turn right at the stop street into Inca Drive.
Follow the road under the bridge where it becomes David.
Follow the road up the hill with a one way coming in from your left – take the bend to the right till you reach the T-junction where you will find Aubrey Drive.
Akanan is situated across the road at number 11 Aubrey Drive.
