| African Roots Guest House is a tranquil guesthouse, situated close to the city centre. The guesthouse is part of the original farmhouse built in 1928. The original steel pressed ceilings and oregon pine floors have been retained, but the architecture has been adapted to a more contemporary style.
All units have individual entrances onto the garden and pool and are stylishly furnished with a range of antique and contemporary furniture and local artworks. A few rooms have their own lounge and fireplace and all rooms have a Television with SABC 1, 2 & 3, ETV, MNET, Movie Magic 1 & 2 and Super Sport 1, 2 & 3. The rooms also have a mini-bar and tea/coffee facilities.
A Full English breakfast is served accompanied with fresh seasonal fruit, cereal and yogurt. Dinner is served on request.
Secure parking with remote access control is provided.
The guesthouse offers a 24-hr wireless internet zone operated by a voucher system.
Conferences
The conference venue seats 30 to 40
people depending on seating arrangements. The venue
is equipped with flipcharts, white board, overhead and
digital projector. Internet access is available via
a wireless zone and two LAN points are available. Full
conferencing and catering is provided.
